When my boys were in grade school we would head out to the Peterbilt dealership in Foxboro, MA. Always a fun trip. This is a typical Peterbilt cabover tractor… … and this one’s a traditional tractor.It’s ToastedI must have been reading Tolkien’s “The Lord of the Rings” when I came up with this gargoyle.One of my favorite meals is breakfast.This was an attempt at a 3D look. I cut out several bricks and the centered door knob, and then put another piece of paper behind the original with orange colored areas behind the cut-outs.I tried playing the recorder back in the day but was too lazy to practice.Not sure why I drew these HEAVY METAL things.HEAVY METAL 2No two hearts are exactly alike.An imaginary fish.The man in the moon is a recurring theme.I drew this little village and then made some stats on photographic paper. Then with some photo touch-up inks I colored parts of the image. While the ink was still wet I was able to use a Q-tip to wipe away some of the blue sky to show smoke coming from the little chimneys.There was a time when I took to drawing horseshoe crabs. I colorized this one and plopped it over a photo I took of some swirly sand at Duck Harbor in Wellfleet, MA.
