This section will feature articles and images that hopefully convey my enjoyment of motorcycle riding both locally and on longer trips as well. I started riding in the early 1970s but really started riding in earnest after 2012. In 2015 I joined the local BMW club, the Ocean State BMW Riders, and that expanded my long distance riding experience. I was also able to learn a lot more about rider and travel safety, and my riding skills improved accordingly. Riding on this kind of machine, where you are exposed to many more dangers than in a car or truck, has helped me to focus on the moment and enjoy the riding experience at another level.
